New Moonlight Awareness Campaign

Dear Moonlight Community, Over at Moonlight en Espa?ol we (Latinamerican and Spanish fans) have been discussing a world wide campaign to raise Moonlight awareness. We decided to organize one day where fans from around the world could make a monetary donation to the Red Cross in Moonlight's name. We suggest a monetary donation because this is more approachable than a blood drive, and this way the Red Cross can invest in what is necessary. The date we have set is the 28th of September, Moonlight's premier anniversary. The donations go from 0.50 cents to 50 dollars, which will go directly to the country's Red Cross. These donations can be made in a number of convenient forms depending on the country and/or region. This includes via a phone call, the Internet, and of course, at the local Red Cross headquarters.

DirecTV Wants To Know: Would You Switch?

Yesterday a rep from DirecTV called MLL’s Leeser and said that Moonlighters have definitely caught their attention. They would like more information about actual numbers, though, so Leeser has posted a poll at MLL asking if you have DirecTV now or would be willing to get DirecTV if they sponsored Moonlight. You do need to be a member at MLL to vote, but registration is quick and easy. The folks at DirecTV will be monitoring the poll.

UPDATE 06.20.08: DirecTV has been by for a look and have commented on the “phenomenal response” (their exact phrasing)!

Breaking News: TNT Is Definitely Interested in Moonlight!


We have it on good authority that TNT is interested in Moonlight, so we are now encouraging Moonlighters to step up our efforts with TNT by contacting them online and/or via snail mail to voice request that they pick up the show. Please use the information included below and follow instructions carefully.

The Campaign Continues: Our Latest Endeavor


We have been noticing the threads & comments suggesting that the fans could subsidize the remaining funds for the production of Moonlight. While that is a wonderful thought in theory, for many reasons it would not be likely to happen. Instead we may have found another option.
